Exam fees: The SQE exam fees are separate from your course cost and are payable directly to the assessment provider when you book your exams. The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has appointed Kaplan SQE as the official provider responsible for running and collecting payment for the SQE assessments on its behalf.
As of the latest fee schedule:
- SQE1 (both FLK1 and FLK2 together): £1,934
- SQE2 (written and oral components together): £2,974
- These fees are VAT-exempt and do not include any preparatory course costs.
You pay these exam fees directly to Kaplan (via the SRA/SQE Team booking system) at the time you book your exam dates — they are not included in your tuition or study package.
